Turning the knurled twist-knob at the top of the pen rotates through the tips, and pressing down on the knob extends the lead when the pencil component is selected. Features: Black and red ballpoint inks. 0.5 mm mechanical pencil. Sturdy brass construction. Hexagonal barrel. Knurled grip section. Note: To open the pen, grip the twist knob and pull it out of the barrel.
