Cleo arrived yesterday. Yes, I got caught up in the Monster High mania. (How is THAT possible?) All the stores were out of my first choice for this year, but I remembered how much I liked Cleo. She is by Mattel, very delicate, 1:6th scale, has the coolest metallic shoes, and comes with a fantastic coffin shaped cell phone that slides opens. I was unaware that her arms and hands snap off much like Bratz legs. When I was undressing her (naturally) to try on other outfits, I almost screamed when her arm came off. My first thought was (&%!XX#!!##!!) she is broken now I have to re-box her and send her back. Then, I realized she is designed that way for ease of dressing. My only disappointment is that her hair is helmet hair; meaning it is one glued together glob. Mattel did that with their cabaret poseables. Not a plus for me. I am hesitant to wash it because it has glitter streams in it and I‘d hate to lose them. Otherwise, at her price point, she really is a cutie and will be loads of fun to pose and play with.
